Travel Blog

Below we’ve put together a list must have gadgets to take on your travel blogging adventures and also where and how to book your stay…..

#NIKON D5300

We’ll be using a Nikon D5300 for all of our Instagram, blog and vlogging with 24megapixels and some awesome settings we think its one of the best amateur cameras out there !

Its nothing too expensive and it does a fantastic job of capturing what we see. If you’re looking to save money on your purchase, a great place to save some money is MPB.com it has a range of second hand cameras, along with  loads of accessories.

We’ve also gone for the Gopro HERO 5  for our Vlogging posts and epic travel pictures. Theres is huge amount of extras out there for GoPro. We recommend buying accessories made by Gopro but a really great way to save money using amazon for a cheaper alternative. We strongly recommend buying only GoPro branded batteries.

#Portable Charger:

Portable chargers are not alien things anymore, you can even buy phone cases that charge your phone while on the move, the last thing you want to happen is be caught out with no battery in the middle of a jungle in central Thailand….. (yes this has happened). We recommend the GoPro Power pack it has a massive charge output and at £40 we think its fairly priced for such a powerful portable charger.

Airbnb is a great way to travel the world, not only do you get to meet some incredible people when you stay in family homes but you can choose to rent out entire homes or apartments. Airbnb offer experiences with locals as well.

We’re offering you £30 off your next Airbnb stay as a thank you for reading…

If you havnt heard of Hostelworld, where have you been for the past 5 years ?
If you’re currently using your phone……“Theres an app for that”.

Booking.com is a great website for booking accommodation- it is easy to navigate around, always great rates with no reservation costs, and get instant confirmation.

Skyscanner is by far the best place (we think) to book to your next flight.

Not only does it compare various airlines to find you the cheapest deals, you can choose your outbound airport and then click ‘Everywhere’. Skyscanner is perfect for adventure seekers and to find the cheapest flight to the nearest destination! That’s exactly how we decided to visit Nicaragua via New York first…

Similar to Skyscanner whereby this site offers multiple options for flights comparing the prices, flight duration and stop overs. We usually use both the websites for flights to compare the price even more!
